Facts about Buena Vista Elementary School: All learning experiences at Buena Vista Elementary are crafted to encourage creativity, innovation, critical thinking, problem-solving and communication skills. Scholars will have the opportunity to connect learning to the outside world and build a foundation for STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) careers. This work is supported using iPads, iPods, SMARTBoards and student netbooks in classrooms. The PreK-4 elementary school has 287 students with a student/teacher ration of 13:1.

Their sole purpose is to make resources available for our students in our city to make education equitable for everybody. A lot of people talk the talk, but a lot of people don’t walk the walk.
