PENCIL hosted its 20th anniversary A Little Night of Music on Wednesday, April 24, 2024
The 20th anniversary of A Little Night of Music was our best yet! More than 400 guests gathered at the Grand Ole Opry House to enjoy specialty cocktails and tasty food truck fare before finding their seats on the stage. Anticipation for this always sold-out event ran exceptionally high, and months of speculation came to an extremely satisfying end when Creative Artists Agency, our Presenting Sponsor and event founder, revealed the identities of the two surprise performers.
First, guests were thrilled when chart-topping singer-songwriter Niko Moon was introduced, and many sang along as he performed his hits. A rousing live auction and spoken words performances from Stratford STEM Magnet School followed. Then, multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Lauren Alaina came on stage, and she captivated the room with her powerhouse voice and compelling songs. By the time the entertaining and wildly successful evening came to an end, more than $160,000 was raised to support PENCIL and the programs and services we provide to Metro Schools.
