PENCIL’s A Little Night of Music 2025 Recap

PENCIL's A Little Night of Music 2025 Recap

We are so proud to celebrate our 21st annual A Little Night of Music fundraiser!

More than 400 guests gathered at the Grand Ole Opry House to enjoy specialty cocktails and tasty food truck fare before finding their seats on the stage. Our Presenting Sponsor and event founder, Creative Artists Agency, recruited two wonderful performers for the evening.

First, rising star Karley Scott Collins was the perfect opener for the evening, followed by a thrilling live auction. We were graced by an incredible student performance of the MNPS anthem Every Student Known, led by Director of Visual and Performing Arts Franklin Willis.

The evening closed with a headline set by country music star Jake Owen, performing hits from across his 19-year career and entertaining the crowd with his hilarious and touching personal stories.

In total, this event raised more than $330,000 to support PENCIL and the programs and services we provide to Metro Schools.

We are grateful to Creative Artists Agency for creating this event and supporting us for 21 years, and to Ryman Hospitality Properties for hosting us at the Opry House since 2015. We thank our Inner Circle Sponsors Dollar General and Amazon, and our official airline partner Southwest Airlines. Finally, we want to acknowledge all the people and businesses that supported this event as sponsors, Circle Sponsors, Patrons, and guests.

We cannot wait to return to the Grand Ole Opry House stage for the 22nd A Little Night of Music on April 29th, 2026: we hope to see you there!
