Together 4 Teachers 2025

In collaboration with Metro Nashville Public Schools, PENCIL kicked off the 2025/2026 school year with its annual Together 4 Teachers celebration on Monday, July 28th.

Together 4 Teachers is a celebration of Nashville’s public school teachers that raises awareness of the DG PENCIL Box, our free educator resource center. Teachers received high-quality classroom supplies and enjoyed music, games, snacks, and more while reconnecting with their colleagues and peers before the beginning of he new school year.

This year’s celebration came on the heels of a collaboration between PENCIL and MNPS to provide “kinderboxes” of core supplies to every MNPS kindergartner on the first day of school.

“Together 4 Teachers is always a fun opportunity to partner with MNPS and show our teachers appreciation for their continued hard work and dedication,” said Christiane Buggs, PENCIL President & CEO. “We truly appreciate our sponsors and partners who ensure educators are both equipped to start the year and continue to have access to the supplies they need year-round through the DG PENCIL Box.”
