Healthcare and education are two of the largest industries in Nashville. It is only natural for these two industries to partner and provide ground-breaking opportunities for high school students who are interested in pursuing a future in the healthcare field. The Saint Thomas Health Scholars program is a result of this partnership and it was an honor to witness the Class of 2018’s commissioning ceremony. 

This program provides Scholars with the opportunity to engage with healthcare professionals, enter the healthcare workforce pipeline, gain leadership experiences and 21st Century skills, while receiving valuable leads to resources enhancing their careers beyond college. Saint Thomas Health is committed to providing opportunities for students in Metro Nashville Public Schools to advance their experiential learning and obtain industry certification in the healthcare field.
