Back to School Breakfast 2024

August 2024 saw PENCIL celebrate our seventh annual Back to School Breakfast fundraiser.

Hundreds of committed Nashville community members and business leaders joined us to kick off the 2024/25 school year, and celebrate PENCIL’s work and impact. 

The breakfast included a stellar line-up of presenters. CEO of S3 Recycling Solutions and MNPS alumnus Rod McDaniel shared his remarkable story; Ingram Award winner HCA Healthcare and MNPS graduate Justice Jackson discussed the impact of HCA’s mentoring program; and we witnessed the live debut of the new MNPS anthem “Every Student Known”, by our wonderful group of student performers!
